An internal service suffered connectivity issues starting at 4:32am resulting in the application taking longer to fill requests than normal. At 5:10am PDT, the compound effect of requests taking longer took its toll resulting in the application being unavailable for most customers for brief period. Our engineers were already working to resolve the performance degradation, so quickly had a solution in place within 16 minutes to fully restore service for all customers at 5:26am.
